There was a new game engine and a calmer storyline However, fans \nand experts alike radically rejected the game. The response was so devastating that the rights \nholders even ended the cooperation, undertook a complete reboot of the series and just managed \nto save the series. \nBut of course, The Angel of Darkness continues to be received to this day. This essay examines the \nreception of the game using the most suitable sources: early reviews, Let's Plays, fanmades, \ndocumentaries, more recent reviews, reviews after the remaster and memes.
